I have a Hard Drivin cockpit game I have owned for several years now. I had it in storage for a couple of years and when I got it out the monitor has no picture. I can actually hear the game playing as normal but of course no picture. I have done several repairs to this game in the past but I have never done any monitor repairs. I am not sure but it looks like some of the capacitors may be swollen that are on the monitor.

Please help, Thanks...

Well, obviously check that you have power going to the monitor, and check the fuse(s) on the monitor.

The HD cockpit is a med-res monitor, but you'll have to be more specific as to the model. Do a search here on how to ID your monitor chassis if you don't see any labels with a model number.

Caps and cold solder joints may be the culprit, especially if it's been sitting awhile...

I had noticed there is some type of piggyback fuse on the monitor from some point in the past. The fuse does appear to be ok though. I will look at it closer tomorrow...

Thanks
