I just purchased a happy fish board from avidcollect. However my jamma connection has a plastic spacer which will not allow me to make the connection. Can I just remove this plastic (key) spacer and make the connection? I thought I better ask before trying it and damaging a 170.00 board.

Thanks
Carmen

They put the key in there so you don't plug in your JAMMA harness backwards and fry your board. ( sad that the reason this was done is that someone most likely fried their board) Pop out the key, play and enjoy, and don't fry any of your PCB's!!!

Has anyone else bought one of these? Mine does not seem to be syncing up right, also when I put it on free play the start buttons will not coin up the games?

My cabinet is wired with 2 joysticks with 3 buttons each. Is this an issue?

Not much of a manual, is there one available online with a wiring diaghram?

I am using a vision pro it is only a few years old. It was working great in my Robotron the day before I swapped it for the UNhappy fish!! It has horizontal lines going through it and moves vertically every once in a while. I have tried every adjustment on it with no luck.

the 6th button on the jamma harness is ground on your harness,it has to be disconnected from ground if not it locks out some of the buttons, the board is very touchy, make sure you have the correct voltage if too high it will toast the board
honestly it is the crappiest board out there,i stop selling them after 5 were returned(just my opinion)

Ok, so here is the deal I have 2 joysticks with 3 buttons each and a 1 and 2 player start button. The manual is useless all it has are the dip switch settings. I set it on free play and the game will not coin up. Please help?

the second to last ground must be disconnected for it to work, that ground is used for the 6th button

both sides, are for the 6th button on player1 and 2
they need a better manual for sure on the wiring:)

possible a bad board
i have 10 of them and 9 were bad so i stop selling them
i have switched to selling the blue elf 309 in 1 now
a lot more stable now
