I bought a new Happs roller ball for my Quantum, and when installed to the harness it does not match up- the arrow that points to the "monitor", which should have the proper install, has the control doing this-

Roll up- Control goes right
roll down- control goes left
Roll left- Control goes down
Roll right- Control goes up

Turn controller 45 degrees clockwise:

Roll up- control up
roll down- control down
roll left- control goes right
roll right- control goes left

Any ideas how to get this to work? I'd love to be able to play some quantum tonight!!

Thanks in advance!!

Red wires are +5 volt
Black wires are ground
The other four wires are directions.
Simply jump the black wires to a colored wire to see which color does what. Then when you know what two colors are swapped, use a molex tool to pop out of molex connector, and change em

If that doesn't work....Maybe the outside wires on the optic pcbs need to swapped. Bob Roberts has a great page about this:
http://arcadecontrols.com/BBBB/tracks.html

This begs the question as to whether green boards don't work with the trackball headers on 60 in 1's simply because those 4 wires need to be swapped. When I figure this out myself, I will post my conclusions here, one day.
