Looking to buy Happs PSUs for Naomi use.

Needing the pinouts for this power supply, as customer service isn't being helpful. Or even just the Namco pinout standard (as SEGA had/has their own pinouts).

I know it's likely yellow is 12v, black is ground, etc but I want to make sure so I don't blow anything up.

Info for future readers:

There is apparently a JAMMA standard for these PSUs. This forum post goes into more detail but has several dead links and incomplete information on pinouts.

There is also this on internet archive, but again it is incomplete and impossible to verify the legitimacy.

More info:

Found the pinouts for 44-1095-01 in... an employee handbook (Page 7) for Chuck E Cheese from 2007? Don't ask because I don't know.

Pinouts are as follows: 12V Yellow, 3.3V Orange, 5V Red

the wiring in the 9 pin plugs is all standard, I think the blue -12V wire is replaced by 3.3V though. we have a Tekken 5 at work but I don't know if it still has the Peter Chou 3.3V

I also don't understand why it's like mandated Tekken 5 have THAT power supply when it doesn't even use 3.3V

Tbh in my case the fact that it has 3.3V is a very good thing. I don't have the space for 3.3v units on top of everything else nor do I really want to mess around with that. I want "plug and play" or as close to it as possible.

GOT IT! Finally a website that actually provides high quality pictures.

This is simply AMOA standard (JAMMA never ratified a power supply standard). The power supply you linked to seems to simply use different color wiring.

Here is a small color agnostic diagram you can use to quickly identify AMOA approved pinout.

like I said they switched out -12V for the 3.3V pin.
