Happiest day in arcade collecting for me!!! My grail has arrived!!

Today is one of those days that you smile and actually feel like a kid again and think how did I end up here today. As a kid I would have never thought I would own this one game. We all have this one game that blows our mind when we play it. Maybe its a rare laser disc game or a rare vector or just a common pacman game but we all have one game that almost brings a tear to our eye from joy when we play it our when we finally add it to out collection. Today is come and I have got the game that I played and enjoyed more than any other game when I was a kid. The game is Cruisin USA. I know its not a classic or a rare game but its the game that I still remember like yesterday from my childhood. I bought the game without a monitor and got lucky and found med res monitor locally. I still need to clean it up and add marquee bulb, mount the monitor, attach the seat and make adjustments but I can tell you its fun as hell how I have it now and I cant wait to put it back together. I know its not much and a failry cheap game but its my grail!!!!

Beautiful, simply beautiful. Virtual On was that game for me. Nothing like that feeling of sitting down to that ONE game eh? =)

If its not one damn thing its another. Was messing around trying to get force feedback to work and shorted out my main pcb and now it wont boot :(. Im on the hunt for a cruisin usa pcb now... just my luck

Sorry to hear that, and a little scared too. I just bought my Hydro Thunders, and had them down at CAX all weekend. I just got them setup in garage, and the force feedback is dead now in one of them. Anything in particular to watch out for?
