Hey guys. I tried rebuilding the existing trackball and its just not smooth enough so I ordered a new Happ trackball. How hard is ir going to be to swap the yellow and green wires. Will i need a specific tool ot what? Thank you.

I don't know about a specific tool, but I just used the probe to my multimeter to push down on the flat metal piece on the outside of the connector and then pull out the wire. Then you just push them in and you're done.

Someone correct me if that's a bad thing to do, but that's how I did it.

Also, good luck readjusting to a new trackball that's actually responsive... Its like you're an old geezer and someone put speed skates on your walker; everytumenyiu leave you suddenly find yourself in a new place and you're not sure how you got there! 😉

May your future high scores live on in infamy!

The new Happ trackball assembly is a perfect replacement.. The actual ball they use today is the wrong weight (they saved on cost)
Posted about it here...

You can buy a cue ball on Amazon for $8 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DMJSF5TX?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1
replace the Happ one and it will work perfectly
