Pulled these out of a Lethal Enforcers.

Both guns shoot and use ammo and the screen blinks. But no shots ever hit anything.
-Monitor/Mirror/Glass is clean.
-Monitor is bright.
-In a dark room.

Here are the 2 boards out of the guns. Top is P1. Bottom is P2.

I can see that the P2 board has a burnt up part. Can that be replaced?
What looks wrong with P1? I don't see anything.

Just looked at my st:v for same problem last night

That cap can be replaced it's a 22uf/16vdc tat cap.

My guess though is you may have a bigger prob with that board given that cap smoked.
May be easier to buy a new one from happ for ?$28.

Those boards go bad a lot. I just replaced one in one of my guns, now it works. Buy from Happ or you might find a deal on ebay. Got a pair for $13 plus shipping.

I think the new ones have two different connectors on them. That's probably why they look different. I got extremely lucky on ebay with mine.

biard 1= cold solder joints on the connector pins

board 2-fried smd cap. Unsire of value. . Id be scared it caused game pcb damage.

Reflow all the solder joints at the connectors and the opto for board1 Put that back togther ans see if yuou can make a working gun. You could then test that on both players to amke sure yoru game pcb is ok. If its ok, then buy another gun pcb

Another thing you could do is if the top board doesn't work after you reflow the connectors, etc.... you could take the optic off of the second board and replace the one on the first board, and see if that fixed it. Look really close at those optic pins too to make sure they're not broken.

Switched the optics, still nothing...

Thinking I should buy 2 new ones. Where can I get the best price?

did you reflow the connector pins too?

HAve you used your meter and checked the gun wiring between the pcb and other end of the gun "hose"? thew wires sometimes chafe and short and or break inside the hose area.

Does your gun still have the lens inside????

id remove c6 off of the fried board and see if it works

Didn't reflow.

Just checked continuity and both passed fine.

Lenses still intact and clean.

Removed and did nothing.

I ordered two PCB's from Twisted Quarter.
