I have a monitor from a Beach Head arcade game.
The problem I am having is that when the game is turned on there is no display other than a vertical bar in the middle of the monitor. This bar displays what it should display based on the signal coming from the video card of the PC; IE: Ram test screen, boot sequence, windows xp, etc. The sides of the monitor don't come on at all and there is a screaming noise coming from the chassis. I pulled the chassis out and put together a custom cap kit, replacing all the electrolytic capacitors, to no avail. Could the flyback need replacing?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
