the monitor in it seems pretty burn free. its a hanterex MTC 900E.
Guy said it worked fine then it just quit one day.
Its gets no power.. the HOT is beeping at me with my meter on it.
You think it might just be the HOT? I have the NTE (NTE238) Cross ref and can get one tomorrow.
anything else special i should know?

ok i was off,,, its TR9 that is shorted.
How would i go about getting a replacement from NTE ?
i dont think the numbers are cross referencing .

I've got one in the shop with a blown flyback as well. Might want to take a look at it and make sure there are no cracks in it and nothing is leaking out of it.

I think I bought a flyback and HOT from Bob Roberts.

i dont need a flyback or a hot.. i need TR9 .
Its a power transistor

In Europe I've seen TIPL751A used as a replacement and BU326A should also do but these are probably harder to find in USA. NTE283 should do.

oops... NTE238 shows as a horizontal output transistor so I assumed that was the HOT. Sorry about that.
