Testing a bunch of monitors on the shelf and came across a Hantarex monitor. Don't know the model number, the label was too faded. Anyhow, the power connection is some type of unknown connector and it has 4 pins. 4 pins? Huh? What in the world is the 4th pin? It's got a cable coming from it that has been cut, but it's like a mini ribbon cable with brown, yellow, orange and red wires. So, anyone know Hantarex monitors and know which pins I need to supply power to? Or any way to direct me to figure out which pin is which? Any manuals or info on these anywhere? Thanks!

Can you get a picture of it, so I can see what model it is. There's most of the Hantarex manuals here...

Here's some pics. Same pics but high resolution so you can zoom in can be found here:

The first picture is the power connector (at least I think so).

It appears to be a postive synch only as the 3 pin connector for the negative sync signals is not present (or maybe I can't find it in the same way I couldn't find fuse F901 on a G07).

Hey Joe,
that's a MTC 900 (not a MTC 900E).....it's a nasty beast.
That monitor was set up to accept an input of 120VAC, or 240VAC.....brown and red wires are for 120V......orange and yellow would be for 240V.
Good luck with that thing,
Edward

Hey Edward,

Thank you for the monitor ID and for the ID of which wires were for 120VAC. Much appreciated.

So, it's a tough one to work on? Based on what you said, I'm inclined to just pitch it and save the tube and frame. I actually really like the frame design. The neck is somewhat protected.
