I recently replaced the blown chassis in my 25" Hantarex Polo (with RCA tube) with a generic Wei ya 825HR from 8Liners. After adjustment, the monitor looks amazing, except for one small issue: the height/width of the screen, even after turning down the H/V adjustment pots as far as they'll go, is too big and cuts off 3/4 of an inch of the screen all the way around. The remote adjustment board is the only source of horizontal/vertical adjustment, since they didn't bother installing pots on the chassis as well.

Is there anything else I can do to shrink the screen just a bit so that everything fits perfectly?

Attached are a few pics, showing TMNT. Notice the cut off words on the title screen, and the character/lifebars at the top on the second screen.

There should be a couple of width/height range adjustment jumper wires on the main board. You unplug the wire from one post and plug it into the other post (when the power is off of course).

(N) narrower or (W) wider.

Thanks for the reply Ken. The jumper was already set at (N). I tried it with (W) and adjusted the pot but that only made it worse. I've since set it back. Any other options? I had thought about increasing the resistance on the board where the pot is, by adding a few resistors.

Quick update....I replaced the brownie at C908 with one of a higher capacitance and lo and behold, it looks great. Thanks for the assist Ken!
