Hantarex Polo vertical linearity won't adjust right
the Polo in my KI has been quite notorious for having messed up vertical linearity, last year I found the adjustment for it and was able to straighten it out mostly, but as time went on, the top stretched and the bottom squished again, so I figured it was time for caps.
well, even after caps, the same shit persists. I adjusted it, then it shifted again, adjusted it more, it shifted some more.
is there some other problem point that I'm missing?
the V-amp pot on my remote boards for ALL my Polos are fucking stupid too, but the KI one is the worst, anybody know the proper resistance rating on those? cause I'm seriously about to shitcan the Hantarex pots and put a civilized one in, it seriously shifts when you touch the knob. I reflowed every pin on both the chassis header for the remote board, and all the pins on the remote board itself, so it's not a cold solder thing, and wiping didn't help any. it ONLY does this on the V-amp pot on ALL my Polo monitors.
