My apologies in advance for my lack of knowledge on arcade/crt hardware as im completely new to this stuff. I may not understand alot of terminology related to the issue so have mercy lol.
Anyway, i recently purchased a killer instinct arcade machine that has some minor monitor issues. The screen gradually shrinks vertically and i have to adjust it every so often via the adjustment board which has been mounted just inside the coin door and connected to the monitors main board via an extension cable. The spindle used to adjust the vertical stretch however is extremely sensitive in comparison to the rest of the spindles, requiring just the slightest touch to stretch. Im not sure if this is normal or not and if not maybe it has something to do with the gradual shrink. Perhaps it is also something that could be solved via a capacitor replacement on the main board? Just wondering if anyone could share some insight on the issue. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks!
