Also doing a recap on a 25" polo, the original cap was 1000uf 35v for C144. Do I replace it with the same (in the cap kit) or should I use a 2200uF as well?2200uF
...................
I did all this so far and the chassis is alive now but I have a small problem on top and the picture (it splits in both direction) also the image is very slightly shaky:
-Full cap kit (chassis, neck board, remote board)
-Replaced film capacitors
-Replaced R35,R40 on neck board, also replaced R245 and R234 on chassis
-Replaced flyback and HOT
-Reflowed chassis power section
-B+ adjusted perfectly to 138V
I also tested with another Polo remote board that is known to work and the issue is still present. So its not a POT / remote board issue.
Could the problem be due to C144? If so I will order some 2200uF to try, Im running out of ideas
