I had a dead Hantarex polo 25, after a recap, hot and flyback replaced. I did a light bulb test all good on the power supply. Monitor came on but out of sync while adjusting it r237 burned up. I replaced r237 with a 2k7 and burned up again. What should I look at nect

R237 is close to the flyback, and also parallel'd onto C178(6)? (Can't read it on the schematics). However both of those poly caps are in the "bulletproof" zone in which you should replace when you cap it. So whichever one it is (176 or 178) remove it and check for a short.

Also check your pin 8 (or is it 6) on your flyback for solder blobs, etc.

Too much current being drawn through R237. Measure resistance from side of R237 opposite the one that goes to the flyback. If very low, check for solder splashes. If none, likely culprits are shorted T115 or D139.

While you are in that area, list one side of R235 and check value (200kΩ). If excessively high, the 200V video B+ will not bleed down when the monitor is powered off. This will be most noticeable when you get a bit of shock while removing the neck board. Guess how I know!

If you haven't already, check the value of the film caps in the horizontal output circuit - C170, C172, C174, and C175. Shorts are highly unlikely, so need to check value or, being known failure parts, just replace them.
