Hello everyone. I recently purchased an NFL Blitz 2000/Showtime cabinet converted from a Blitz 99. The monitor (a Hantarex polo 25) worked when I purchased it, but after a few weeks of use the flyback began sparking. I pulled the chassis out of the cabinet and attempted to replace the flyback myself but the monitor still does not power up. I'll admit that I am over my abilities at this point and I'm looking for a trusted source to have the chassis rebuilt. I am located in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area, but I'm certainly not opposed to sending it off.

I'd like to get the game functioning properly again as it's spectacular when it was working and I don't want to convert it to LCD as it really seems to be a quality loss. Thank you for any leads!

my Polo fu is weak in contemporary times. I work at The Garcade if you've ever been there. I've been waiting for _months_ to have a weekend off however.

I haven't gotten to that one yet! It's on my list to get to ASAP. I went to Vintage Vault and Galloping Ghost with my sons and I've been to the Garcade exhibits at MGC. Always a good time. Collected the 1ups for a bit but it's not the same as the real stuff.

If you're interested in giving it a shot or have a lead though you can DM me and I'd be willing to drop the chassis off and pay for the labor/materials. Just want to continue enjoying the machine. It's been down for a little bit now, but there's no huge rush to get it immediately.

Thanks!

lot of families come Sunday. Saturday during the day is apparently kind of a nightmare. lol

I have yet to go to Vintage Vault, my other boss went last week but I went into work instead.

Any other leads out there? I did find a listing for a gentleman in Green Bay I can send the board to. I may end up having to go that route. Just was hopeful someone may have an idea in the SE Wi or NE IL areas.
