Hey all, need some guidance about a Mtc 9000 chassis I recently repaired. When sent to me, I initially was told it was a polo, which I have plenty of polo and tubes to use to check my work after the repair. However, it was a Mtc 9000. Now, I've tested the readings on various 25" tubes and would like to get everyone's opinion on the closest match tube and yolk of which I could use to test this monitor chassis? I wanted to see if any of these are safe to test before plugging it in. Here is his readings from his tube that housed the Mtc 9000:
1.8 on yellow/orange thick wires..6.0 on thin brown/red wires.

Here are the various reading I got on my monitors...would any of these work just fine with his chassis?:

Tube and yoke #1: 1.7 ohm orange/yellow
5.9 blue/purp

Tube and yoke #2: 1.7 ohm red/brown
5.7 blue/purp

Tube and yoke #3
Thin 5.0
Thick 1.6

Tube and yoke #4
Blue/red 2.1
Green/ yellow 11.6

Tube and yoke #5
Blue/red 1.5
Green/yellow 7.4

Tube and yoke #6
Green/yellow 11.3
Blue/red 2.3

Tube and yoke #7
9.0 thin
1.8 thick

I would think Tube and yoke #1 and #2 would work, as they were both polos...but I wasn't sure.

Thanks for the help!

don't know about the compatibility between a Polo and an MTC9000 unfortunately.

the Polo is apparently fairly close to a K7000 I'm told though.

It's the same. European Polos/MTC9110 don't have the same tubes as US ones (due to the fact we don't use 25" but 23" and 26") but same tubes are used for both models both in Europe and US. A difference is that our tubes have a vertical resistance of about 9.6ohm whereas US tubes are about 6.0ohm.

Your #1 and 2 should be fine.

Thanks MKL and mecha! I tried it and you are correct, the tube and yoke worked fine. It's worth noting, I had issues with sync but that's because my 6 pin connector(polo) had to be split up because his Mtc 9110 had a 6 pin and 3 pin. R,g,b to the 6 pin, sync and ground to the 3 pin. Case closed!
