Picked this up yesterday.
Someone converted this poor cocktail to a Street Fighter.
Truly a scary conversion but for 100 bucks I thought I give it a go and it was nearby.
Hopefully I'll have some time this week to dig in to it.

fugly cocktail cab

My god just when u think you have seen it all...How the hell do you open up the coin door with that big ass control panel in the way??? that is uglier than larry the cable guys sister.....

anything you do will be an improvement,, good luck........

I was the first to call this seller about the game.......I would not commit until he sent me pictures....which he was stalling on. After seeing your pics I am glad I did not make the drive to pick it up. Hope you can make something out of that one.

I've seen worse.

There was a tetris coctail game that was a Mrs. Pac where they actually sawed the control panels off the ends and bolted them to the side of the game (as opposed to the added control panel on your machine).

Good luck with your game. At least it's jamma!

Uhmm, don't you mean gut it? This is a perfect example of why not every $100 game is a good deal. Hopefully the board works and the Pac cps are decent enough you can make back maybe half your money. There is no saving that cab. You would need one hell of a dark plexi to hide that screen burn to use it in another game, if it works.

Not trying to be mean and believe me I know when you first get into this hobby you will sometimes buy anything if it is $100 or less. It might take some time but eventually when you have enough piles of trash around you come to your senses.

Poor thing what have they done too you? Hopefully that side street fighter setup can be easyly removed.

I really don'nt think that would be too bad of a Ms-Pac-man If restored right?

I have seen that done as well. It looked better than this because it didn't have that huge panel AND two nonfunctional panes as well. This one is defintely a Frankentable, though. Hopefully, it will be able to go back to its old self. Too bad the glass top is missing.

The glass top?? Do you not see the bottom of the game falling apart? Just from the pics this is not a restoration but a full rebuild from scratch. But gee, I'm sure the sides where the big wood boxes were added on will clean right up.

Shouldn't be too bad, I've fixed worse.
I had to rescue the thing, I couldn't just leave it there to rot :)

Yeah, I guess not. Oh well. Not my problem.

Ouch! It doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable to try playing a fighting game in a cocktail cabinet to begin with.

I disagree. I think this could make a great restoration.

For $100 that's definately a trick, not a treat. Strip it and burn it. Post pics of the insides to convince me otherwise.

Ha ha, I guess you didn't notice his join date is earlier than yours and his VAPS game list is longer by one game as well. I'm sure he knows what he's doing by now. ;)

Yeah, I've been around for a little bit :)
Funny thing I only got it because it was like a 10 minutes from the house and not the usual 2 hour drive, and I also felt bad for it.

Like I said I wasn't trying to be mean but that cab is so far gone I never thought somebody who had been doing this for years would buy that.

Its restorable and not as bad as some are saying either. Go ahead and fix it up and shut some people up. After you restore it and prove yourself, multi it and sell it for 6 or 7 times what you paid.
