As I do every year, I'll be opening up my garage/arcade for Halloween evening (this Monday) for anyone to come on by and play some classic games.

For those of you who have come by in year's past and wish to do so again, I have moved to the next town over so you'll need to PM me again if you want my new address. It's not far at all from where I was previously.

Or if you haven't come by before and live in the San Francisco/Bay Area, I invite you to come by this year and have some fun.

I now have 28 games and 2 pins in full (listed in my signature), and as of today they are all fully working (knock on wood) and ready to go. The 2 newest additions are a Qbert that I picked up just this past weekend and got it working, and also a Star Castle on loan.

I usually open up around 6-6:30PM or so, and stay open 'til around 9-9:30ish, depending on how things go. I'm not sure what to expect at my new place, but I used to get quite a crowd at my previous place (young and less young)...it should be interesting to watch as the folks in my new neighborhood walk by and check it out :) .

PM me if you're interested, and I'll gladly send 'ya my address.

Cheers!

Jon

That's awesome.

I'm going to do the same thing with 12 machines in my driveway. I'm making popcorn balls to put into my crane/fishing machine as prizes. We did flyers for the neighborhood and the kids classmates. I hope to have a good turnout. Seems like no rain is in sight. I'm doing 6:00-9:30 also.

That's really cool for you guys to make some games available for play like that. I'm sure it would be fun to see people's reactions, and hey, maybe one of the parents will have a game they want to get rid of. :D

I told my wife about what you do with opening your garage, in hopes she should say "YEAH WE SHOULD DO THAT!" Instead her reply was "we could never do that here......." :(

You are the man. Do it for those who can't!

I think its great your doing this for your neighborhood. If I had an Escalara to
haul my games up from the basement.. I would do the same.

I look forward to seeing lots of pics.
