Got this one from a recent Warehouse Raid.

I cleaned it up real good with Mean Grean and Magic Erasers.
Cleaned control panel overlay, buttons and joystick.
Put on new T-molding
Put in new cardboard overlays and backdrop.
Capped monitor and sound pcb.

I have new sideart on the way. I'm going to touch up the sides/front. And I'll sand/paint the coin door and marquee metal

But all said and done, she's not bad looking for an $87 dollar machine :D

looks great, I would leave the original art, it still has some life left.

Goddamnit I love Popeye. Probably one of the greatest arcade games ever. I love the art package, I love the cabinet, I love the game.

Yea I'll leave it for a while.
I ordered some new stuff because it was on sale. I'll save it for later :)

I agree with leaving it. It's really nice. But, who has it on sale, currently? My Popeye is finally back in the line up.

Thanks

Nice machine man! Glad that you guys didn't run this one over! :)

To Hailrazer's credit, he wasn't involved in the pac van incident, nor did he participate in blowing up the playchoice with tannerite. He did get the monitor out of the dk before hand, and I believe would testify that we did so without any tools because the cab was so rotten we were able to rip it out with ease.

Enough of memory lane.. Is the Popeye still available?
