It seems like almost everygame had an issue, anyone else have games in basement with issues? I assume it's from me not emptying my dehumidifier often enought. Damn it!

our whole damn basement flooded this year!!! humidity is bad for electronics in general.

Have you been setting gremlin traps? Bait them properly?

I know the feeling, so many times right before a party or game night things just poop out. Grrr!

If you have a horse race track nearby they might be able to get you some, 50lb bag, of calcium chloride. It is just the same thing as damp rid just quite a bit cheaper. They use it on the race track to absorb the moisture.

The moisture is most harmful to the cabinet. Particle board and formaldehyde, and once they get wet they just fall apart.

One game that went down was Punch Out (with the free play chip) When you started a game it would get to the point where it should say "Ladies and Gentlemen introducing Glass Joe" but it wouldn't say it, it just froze right there, played with connector and restarted and got same thing. Any punchout guys ever have this problem? Second game is Baby Pac, monitor works in test mode but won't display the game, Third game Battlezone-game plays but screen is real shaky, Then there were to mames with Arcade monitors that just went to "black screen" after sitting idle. Oh, almost forgot Cruisin usa also looks blurry now.

Aghh that sucks. My condolences. Games failing on party situations has to be one of the worst arcade situations, bar none. Hang in there man.
