Ha, ha, ha, ha.....

Don't know if it's the same kind... but When I went to pick up my PC10 cab, the guy had a holo cab... said he couldn't get rid of it... no one wanted it...

You mean a hot tub that is also a time machine? That is preposterous.

This game would only get played 3 times. The last two is just to make sure it really sucked as bad as you remembered it. Minor historical value, ehh. Not worth the weight or size. I would not even offer 50 for it. I remember it clearly back in the day and I also remember it sitting there in the arcade not even being plugged in. Yes, the arcade owner had a working game in his location and did not even bother to plug it in!!!!

I remember when these were about a year or two old, and the Nickels and Dimes arcade chain sold them out of their arcades (tilt, gold mine, etc.) for $199 fully working. I bought a bunch just for the LD players, Nice 20" Sony trinitrons, and boards.

This game depreciated faster than any other game I know of. Brand new distributors were getting $9995. Within 6 months they were under a grand. Within a couple years under a hundred. The big chains really got hurt on these things.

Wow....in that picture it looks like some sort of weird washing machine or dryer. Greatest game ever? Pffft....that's a laugh! That's like trying to say the Pinto was the greatest muscle car ever made.Nice try cochise!

"(In my opinion the greatest game made)"

Ah. So that's what justifies the $10K...

Man, he's about to have a really ugly reality check.

I played this game one time, and it cost about 3 quarters as I recall, which was 3 times the price of every other game in the arcade except Dragon's Lair at the time. I was pretty disappointed in my purchase. Even worse than playing it was hearing the attract mode cowboy yammer on and on until the machine finally went away.

oh man I forgot about that game. I played it once, it was like someone else said 3 coin.. worst game I ever played, it was the first time I ever complained and demanded money back.. I didnt get it but hey cant blame a kid for trying

I used to do odd jobs for some of the distributors in the area then and we took truck loads of these to the land fill. Everyone that bought them, brought them back and you could not give them away. We took a sledge hammer to them and to the dump they went. We did this with many games in the late 80s and early 90s. Joust Pinball, Dragons lair, Cyberball 4 player, Ninja Warriors, 720, Xmen 6 player and many other classic and odd games. The bigger it was, the harder it was to get rid of. When the big chains were done with them and the distributors took them back on trade could not move them and would not store them, it was smash them into little bits. It was fun then but sad now.

Did you tear apart any Tecmo Bowls? Those things were beasts...

It's the same cab. Holosseum was a conversion from TT. There are some diehard TT people out there.

There are NO hardcore Holosseum people. The game is a pile of shit.

And no, I still can't get rid of it. So it sits in a corner. It's the first thing people see and say "What is that!" I turn it on and the sounds of the turbo prop fans get their attention. They play it for about 2-3 minutes and give a look of disappointment. I say "I know......I know".

Good thing I have plenty of space for this thing or else.......

MAME it! :D

Looks like he didn't find "that" buyer....

I will have to say is I actually like/love this game. It was the first laserdisc game I won back in the arcades. If space wasn't a factor I'd would own one.

My problem with this auction: Obviously the price but I believe those are not the original "decor" blocks in the background but compound that with the chunk missing of the control panel....He does have the light marquee which is a rare find with this machine but.......
