Probably a dumb question.. but I'll ask it anyway

I have a monitor that only takes composite negative sync yet my board
puts out seperate h- and v- signals on seperate wires.

Can I just repin the connector and combine both wires together on the one
pin and to get composite neg?

You MIGHT get it to work. Then again, you might screw something up on the game board if you get some type of doubler effect on the sync line.

Depending on the monitor type - you might get it to work by only connecting the -H....

Mod.. I am using a wei-ya chassis which only takes composite negative sync.
The game has seperate H- and V- syncs.

You have experience with this chassis I believe? How do you handle it?

Thanks,
Mike

Try connecting up only the -H sync to the -comp sync input and see if it works.

If your game only outputs separate sync, then this chassis may not work for you. You can try using both to the -comp sync line if you want, but it might not work...
