I thought I would share my latest restoration project. In addition to just wanting to share, I would like to keep all my pics, documation, etc. here so others may one day need it.

Introduction: I love electromechanical machines and especially the horese themed spinner consoles. Hearing one startup and spin for some reason has always amazed me.

Here are the pics of my current project:

At this time, everything works except that the payout is not the correct odds. For example, it may state that the winner is 10 coins, but it will pay 25 or 15, etc.

If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.

For future members who may have one of these machines, I am attaching schematics for Evans Console Machines.

Looks great! I have a similar one in my garage that I'm still debating on keeping or selling. I got it working, but my payouts are off too. Mine is a Buckley, Track Odds.

Your Buckley looks nice. After hours and hours of tracing wires, confirming connections, cleaning connections, etc. etc. I decided to take the drum apart to deterimine exactly how it works. Well, in the process of dismantling the drum, I accidentily discovered that the actual printed paper of odds wrapped around the drum was not glued or taped down and was moving around the drum freely!!!!!! My God, I never thought of actually verfifyiing that the paper of odds were attached to the drum in the right spot. I figured out how to deterimine the correct position for the odds sheet and taped it in place.....problem solved.
