Well I had a fully working boardset.. till I dropped it.

Now I dont have any ships or starfield on the screen when the game is
playing. The game acts normally otherwise.. music, sounds, score, etc.

I tried taking the boardset apart and making sure all the chips are seated
but no dice...

Does anyone fix these?

Sounds like a chip isn't connecting. From what I have heard, the sockets on these classic Konami PCBs are super finicky, and dropping the board would be the sort of thing that would loosen one up..

Check your solder points on the sockets, you might just need to re-flow a bit of solder and be back in action.

Thanks for the tip.. I'll give that a shot.
