I am dealing with two very different coin door harnesses, both of which are original coin from what I have gathered.

The first coin that came on the cab is the COINCO door (similar to Centipede) with all the white striped wiring. It came with the cabinet. but was hacked up. So I decided to buy the more popular CENTURI coin door with the logo plaque.

The Centuri coin door harness does not match up, color-code wise, with the female receiver harness going back to the pcb. The actual connectors match, just not the amount of wires or the colors of the wires.

Heres the female coin door connector from the cab (basically four wires: red +5v,violet -5v,black grd, & lt. blue ?) Problem: no (orange) 12v for the coin counter and the schematic says it's a 12v coin counter?:

Here's the Centuri Coin Door male connector (same connector) with way more wires (basically: wht, orange, brn, grn x2,blue,red,gray,yellow,blk):

Does anyone have a clue, cuz I'm lost?

Doesn't the coin counter need 12v? And I don't see the coin door lights in the pinout chart are they +5v?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I can read the schematics but I can't seem to locate the coin door portion.

Does the +5 go to the 6.4 V. lamps and then the -5 is the return?

Thanks for any help.

So, I figured out that there are 3 pins (lt. blue) on the receiver that are COIN.

So, the pins on this receiver are +5, -5, Coin (x3), and Gnd. I am still perplexed how the 6.4v lamps and the 12v counter tie into this:

Basically, I'm trying to change the coin door from the one on the right to the more desirable one on the left but the harnesses are not wired compatibly:

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Ok, I see from the schematic that Coin L, Coin R, and Counter all tie in to the COIN line. So that just leaves me wondering which wire from the receiver that the x2 6.4v coin lamps tie into? Would the answer be that the lamps are the +5 and the -5 wires?

Thanks.

Is the test switch just in circuit with the COIN or is it it's own circuit? I don't see a pinout for it on the pcb connector. It has 2 white wires and 1 black.

Thanks guys.

Should be coming off of pin 7 on the parts side...
