I just bought one of these and I was under the impression that you could add your own roms to it. If you have one with the corrupted TMNT 2 rom that is corrupted couldn't you just add a new rom?
Sadly... Turtles in Time was the ONLY file that was corrupted on my entire Gamebox setup. Nixs said it must have been a bad batch that he had received as all of the others he tested after I mentioned it also had the same issue. I cried a little but I've come to terms with this fact. So now my 450 in 1 is really only 449 in 1. But, I think the 25 different versions of King of Fighters will make up for the Turtles 2 loss though. Someday I may even try playing them.
Oh and I LOVE the 450 in 1. I have removed probably about 50 games so far that I had never played and after trying out have realized I will never play again. But overall it's a really great setup for me. And I've only run across a handful of games that had any slow-down issues... most have worked fine.
If my 450 in 1 arrives with Turtles in Time corrupted i'm gonna snap lol
I swear endless battle to get that game. If it is corrupted then I will find a way to rePlace the rom and add new roms. Might be as easy as taking out the hard drive and connecting it to your pc and add roms in the proper folder but I think it wont be that easy. They might have some form of protection.
I started doing some reading on the xxxx-in-1.com site about adding roms to the Gamebox. I also PM'd a guy who recently made it work so as soon as I get any more info about the best process I'll give it a go. I'd like to add TMNT2, NBA Jam, and a number of Vs. games to mine.
After reading through the posts that I could find on the site it looks like no one has found a way to add roms. Maybe I missed one that was more encouraging though that you found. Please keep us in the loop of what you find. Thanks

That is the encouraging thread I was looking at. I have PM'd the OP on that thread to see if he can lead me in the right direction on how he got started. More than likely I'll end up plugging my Gamebox hard drive into our pc at home to just to look around a bit to get a feel for what is there before I actually start messing with it at all. If I feel at all like I could kill my Gamebox by doing anything I probably won't do anything at all as I'd rather not deal with that headache.

That's really encouraging. I'd love to get NBA Jam and Wrestlefest on it if I could so I can't wait to hear how impossibly hard it is to do lol
