I just updated my Gunsmoke restoration thread over at coinopspace and while I'm not finished with it, you finally get to see the custom stencil I designed applied to an actual cabinet.

When I hit up gamestencils.com to get some links for the post, I noticed that Prok now has the stencils and the repro control panel stickers available for purchase. They are good quality products, pick one up if you think there might be a Gunsmoke in your future.

Damn, that looks fantastic! Your design of the side art is perfect, fits the game theme very well. I agree that this game deserved to be dedicated. I always liked Gunsmoke, the music in the game will always remind me of an 80's arcade. Great job!

That's damn nice. This game's a good example of a kit that deserved to be dedicated.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm actually wondering what other kits out there deserve to have "dedicated" cabinet artwork. I like being creative and re-imagining this kind of stuff. What do you guys think might be a good project to tackle next?

Seriously, that is BEAUTIFUL! Awesome work... very bitchin'
I've thought about doing some custom sideart on a cab or two of mine, you've inspired me to at least try!

Did your Gunsmoke kit come with instructions or an overlay for the proper button joystick layout.

Just curios, I made a custom CP for Gunsmoke in the past that would would fit a pac cab, and it was very uncomfortable to play with.

Also heads up, I had to flip the yoke when installed in a pacman cab style cab with the original monitor orientation.
