I'm working on a Gunfight board and it would not coin up or start and after some testing I'm not getting any power out of either 8 pin SIP resistor array between E-F, 1-2 or G-H 1-2 so I'm assuming both at bad. I was planning on replacing the Opto's with MCT6's but I can't figure out the correct SIP's. The one's in it are Dale 7612 CSP 08E 01-56IJ which I can't find a cross reference for and the diagram at https://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-videogames/G/gunfight_2.pdf scan is pretty bad and I can't read it. I think they should be 750 Ohm or about ½ watt at least that what Seawolf uses and it looks like there are plenty of 8 pin SIP's out there. I did jumper past the Opto's and the board starts, coins and shoots so I know the issue is somewhere in the opto's or power to them.

Any help or advice is appreciated,
Thanks,
Steve

That is a 560 ohm 5% resistor network
7 resistors - Bussed
8 pin sip package
1 watt for the package
So about 145 mW per resistor.

The schematic I have says 560 ohm but I've seen different values. For example the board in front of me now has 2 1k arrays soldered in so they are in parallel and equal to 500 ohm.

Are you getting VLED to pin 1 of the resister array? I think it's about 15v it comes in at pin 11 or 12 on the mainboard connector

Blinddog, you once again saved me from my own stupidity. I built this test rig specifically for SeaWolf boards and have used it on a few other 8080 boards. The rig has no pin 11 or 12, VLED or no power to the opto array so I may have no problem at all. Its seems a bit odd that this array has its own separate power source so is this because all those opto's need more power? I do have 12V off of this switcher which I could push to those pins but would that be enough to power that circuit? Anyways, I buried the cab in my garage so I'll pull it out and test it. Thanks for posting the diagrams, at least I can read them now.

I talked to you awhile back about fixing a Tank II boardset, If you have time these days to work on it let me know. You fixed my Stunt Cycle last year and it works great.
Thanks, Steve

12v will work to power the vled that's what I use on my harness. I should be able to take on tank. Send me a pm and we can talk about it.

Matt
