There's a few cabinets an hour or so away, that someone's giving me a decent deal on. One's a Big Event Golf, that doesn't look like it's in it's original cab, and the other is a mystery racing game. I've tried asking the title of the racing game several times, but I guess it's too hard to read the marquee?

Anyway here are the pictures. The racing game looks strange. It looks like there should be a seat there, but it also looks like it might be too high for a seat. Something about it doesn't make sense. She says it's some motorcycle game, but I dunno.

1st pic is STUN Runner

Second picture looks like a Mappy or Jr. Pac-Man with the "big box" marquee cut off.

Edit: after a second look....those arn't it.

I was also thinking Mappy for the second one but the coin door is wrong. Reminds me of a Xevious but the cabinet looks to have been F'ed up if that's it.

Looks like a cut down Liberator:

Looks like a cut down Liberator:

That has to be it. I can't find any other Atari games that have that hump on the top and that style of marquee area. The control panel matches as well. They put a lot of work into that one. The angle of the monitor was changed in addition to the cutout.

That isn't a cut down Liberator. I have seen a few other cabinets like this. Infact I have pix on my site of another.

I believe this was a prototype cabinet for Liberator that just didn't get used. Atari then used them for other games - that Golf game being the only game i've ever seen in them.

Liberator would be so much cooler played that way - looking down.

Actually I take it back. Does anyone want these cabs? They're free and in Greenville. I just realized Greenville is way farther than I thought, and gas would kill this deal for me.

Is the lady keeping the games outside or were they pulled out for pics?

She didn't say. She just said she didn't want to see them ruined. Her address info mentioned something about a barn, so maybe they're being stored there. She said they were part of an estate sale lot, and these were the ones that weren't working, and didn't sell. In the pics I don't see any water damage. Who knows.

The shape of that green cab is heinously ugly. Wow.

These cabs were actually picked up. I got the green one and the STUN Runner was picked up by another KLOVer. The STUN Runner was a parts cab only really.
