I have a GT 2005 that I am trying to get working. Power supply was bad. Replaced it. Now, when it gets to Registration, it just stays there and I can't go any further. What should I do to try to get past this?

It shouldn't go to registration; are you trying to register it, or does it do it automatically?

They can't be registered anymore.

Put the game into test mode. Go under "IT options" or whatever, and then find "Force call" or something like that, turn that to off. Basically it's trying to register everytime you turn it on.

force call is off, still went to that screen. turn off the option where it tries to register and now it freezes on the Initializing System screen. I wonder if this could be a HD issue?

When you say "freezes" (on the registration screen) was it just locking up, or was it trying to dial? And now on this screen, it's just hanging there on that same spot, and not going forward, not resetting, nothing?

In my experience, if the game freezes or lags or goes slow it's usually a hard drive, if the game resets over and over again it's usually the power supply. You can burn your own hard drive if you can extract the image from the one you have.

If you look online, search for "Killer instinct Project", the guy has a really good walk through there on how to image a Killer Instinct hard drive, same principle applies to these hard drives. Just make an image of it, then reburn it onto a different hard drive.

yeah, i am going to try to make a copy of the hd and see if it works then. problem is, i'm on a mac, so i gotta find chd software for it

I just checked in my golden tee, you want to go to "It adjustables" or something similar, then "enable dialing" and set that to "Disable". It'll bring up a screen and prompt you if you're sure, then you hit start and it disables the calling.

yeah, i found that and disabled it. when that is disabled, it doesn't bring up the reg. screen, it sticks at the system initializing screen. i really think it is a HD issues now. i am going to attempt to make a copy of my drive.

It was indeed a HD issue. Replaced the HD and now all is well... Finally almost done with this cab...
