I have a Golden Tee 2005 that when powered up detects the hard drive, checks the file system, then reboots. it will continue to reboot and do nothing more. what could be the problem?

bad hard drive is usually the cause of this, even if it says OK in the detection stage...

mod, it seems like the HD is not getting enough power. however, if i adjust my power supply, the game will not reboot, but it then reports voltage is to high. so, i guess i need a new power supply? what is needed to convert the HD to as CompactFlash?

I dunno - never done it. You need +5 and +12 for the HD, so measure it. I usually set the +5 at +5.20

You need another game to test it in, or another known good board/HD combo to test in yours...

I am not in any way an expert on this, but my 2003 fore was doing the same thing, and when I changed the hard drive it did nothing, but when I changed the power supply it fixed it.

simply my experience.

yea, my PS is doing 5.03 and 10.02. that is off by quite a bit. i think its time for a new PS...

The Fore I picked up today has an ATX supply in it. It would boot for about 5 seconds then turn off. I stuck a spare ATX supply in it and it fired right up.
