Hi!

I have a Cloak and Dagger I'm (still) building. It's SO CLOSE to being completed.

Finally it booted up correctly. However, all the switches and stick directions all act ON when they aren't.

I double checked, everything is plugged in correctly. Any ideas what would cause this?

It is using a Jamma adapter. But at another place, I tested it and it worked fine.

Does that mean the ground from my power supply is hooked up wrong? Or that something that shouldn't be plugged into it, is?

Thanks!

Post a picture of your control panel.

You may have wired to all of the normally closed connections on the microswitches when you wanted to wire to the normally open connections.

with the game off take a multimeter set to test conductivity and see if the inputs are shorted to ground at the card edge with everything connected. and if it is still shorted when the card edge is removed from the board then you know the fault is in your wiring to thee card edge not the board
