I am glad she is at peace now, and no longer suffering. I am also sorry for your loss, as I know how important she was in your life. Don't let the petty thoughts amongst some of the family members get you too angry, it was a stressful time for them as well... and should not diminish how you and your adopted mom felt about one another... they were probably insecure about their own relationship with her.
I've been keeping you in my thoughts and hoping that she was not in pain... as I knew that would be the hardest for you to take. Enjoy the comfort of your friends and family now...

You just think of all of the time that you had together. The little things that put a smile on your face again.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, it sounds like it's been a hell of a rough ride the last couple weeks. It sounds like popping the cork on the bottling was helpful, and I hope that you can continue through the process as smoothly as can be.
I'd actually been meaning to PM you to let you know that the monitor now lives in it's cabinet and it works great. Bright and sharp, colors are spot on, she lights up the living room very nicely. Certainly not ideal timing, but I said I'd let you know, thanks a lot.

Until we can live in the Star Trek universe where doctors can fix everything, people will come down with bad things. The best that you can hope for is that they suffer as little as possible. Your mother is now in a place where the pain can't get to her and where she has benn made whole again. It's hard but take comfort in that.
Hang onto your father, you will both need each other. If you need to blow off steam because of idiots in the family (and you will) we're here for you. Time will heal your hurt.
