Funny you should ask 
I wish I had a more eloquent answer, but it's simple: The cabinet arrived to me with Lee Trevino's Fighting golf installed. When I pulled up the craptastic CPO (a SNK nightmare) I found a nice looking VS panel. I was originally going to use the panel for the conversion. Then I found out that where I wanted to place the trackball wouldn't work. So I started my own artwork designs using the VS panel vector file. I was going to cut my new holes and place my new CPO over the top.
After a while, I decided to scrap the idea of using existing panel, and sought after having my own panel custom formed by a metal shop. Then I found out that all the guys around me were 6 weeks out on work
So, I chose to make my own panel with MDF. I used Rich to print my overlay (using the VS panel I'd already been working with) and there you have it.
