That is a steal when you compare it to some of the models on eBay. Great game room too, hopefully I can get mine to look like that soon too, as I just have a multicade and shuffleboard right now. But want to add a pc10 next.

Phetnomenal!!!

It looks Phetnomenal! (new term) :D

Question, I am not familiar with the attract mode on a playchoice, does it cycle through all the games? Cause Metroid would cause some serious burn-in with the ground that never goes away! But I would have to say that Metroid would be one I would have in a Playchoice if I had it!

Actually, in freeplay mode the game boots to the game selection menu. In order to have an attract mode in freeplay, you just select a game from the menu. The machine then displays that game's attract mode until you either start the game or press the channel select and enter buttons at the same time to go back to the main menu. I tend to choose games with sound in the attract modes. Metroid, Pinbot, Pro Wrestling are my favs. The worst one for attract mode in my machine is Rygar, as it just sits on the title/push start screen.

Man, dejavou. I wondered where I saw this pic before:

Oh yeah I remembered. Last year I restored an R-Type and took nearly the same shot (complete with Mustang reflection):

I should have just photoshopped the Playchoice graphics into the R-Type pic and saved myself a ton of work. Man that tinted Tempered glass Nintendo used is reflective.

Oh its horrible, just horrible, you should get rid of it and lucky you, ive got a truck. Of course they will be a fee for hauling it off!!!!!
Love it!!! Its awesome!!!!

I found my new favorite attract mode. Pinbot. Music, sweet artwork, awesome. All it's missing is some sample gameplay.

I didn't know that pinbot was released for the Playchoice! I was going by this list:

I thought Ninja Gaiden was on the playchoice? Well that has a great attract mode, can't beat a cinematic one! I suppose Mario 2 & 3 would be decent too. Castlevania 3 has a good one too, too bad it never made it to the PC.

Hey, Phet! Nice work on that one, looks fantastic. I kind of miss mine, but not really. :)

Did they have two different marquees for the PC-10 dedicated? Mine was different.

Although not original looking, I really like the white t-molding! NICE WORK!

I figured you were. BTB, has it been 100% confirmed that all the dedicated single monitor Playchoice 10s came with 7000s? I thought it was 50/50? Didn't we have this discussion once? Or was that for R-Type?

I don't know, I've only had one of them and it has a converter board on the side like they used in the kits, along with a Wells K7000.

Here I fixed that for you:

Also looks like the list I was looking at wasn't right. Ninja Gaiden 1,2 and 3 were all released for the Playchoice. *All of them have great attract modes.

Whoa, if it didn't look so nice I'd say that was Fritz's machine. I played the hell out of Pinbot and SMB last night. I love playing freshly restored machines. It's like test driving a freshly detailed 1986 Lamborghini Countach.

I would miss mine if I sold it. You should have actually restored your machine, you have may felt differently about letting it go. As to your quaintly queer queries, the dedicated single monitor Playchoice's came with the marquee you had. The one I have on there now is a NOS marquee from a DK/Popeye conversion kit. I bought and paid for a NOS dedicated SM PC marquee (like yours) from a KLOVer over 3 weeks ago. It still hasn't arrived, so it looks like it's time to file a paypal claim. I just decided I'd use the one I had for the time being. As to the black vs. white T-molding, the black was actually just 3/4 inch T-molding with one side trimmed as far as I can tell. I pulled the stuff off of 3 machines, all had the one side trimmed and it was rough and thicker than the other tooled edge. This new offset white molding that was run by Billy is actually meant for these style machines. I am happy with it.
