Greetings, I am new and have a favor to ask

I have 4 of them and if you want call me and I will give you the measurements. I am shark fishing this week and will be back in shop on Monday. Call me Toll Free at 1-888-867-3001 ask for Dale or otherwise known as Shitty Retailer around here.

Thank you Rlevin. I would at least like to get the measurements of the unit. What is a good time to call? I work 8 am to 5pm eastern time. My lunch is from 12 to 1. Let me know. Thanks!
Nathan

I think you are talking about the stick controller (on right) and knob/spinner (on left). Haven't seen/played ST sit down in years. You can't see the stick control in the flyer image posted earlier but the spinner is there.

I've played it enough to know there are four buttons, thrust, phasers, tordedoes, and warp. Someone has brutally hacked that unit. That's just wrong.

I don't recall the controls. Nothing surprises me with these games anymore. It is sometimes amazing to me they are still around in one piece as so many are no longer with us. The control 'hack' could be undone easier than building a whole new machine so keep that in mind. :)

Wow, you are right about that! I played that game a lot back in the day, and there was never a stick. That is the area where the buttons go. I'm not even sure what good a stick would do on that game. Maybe it was like the console versions? Forward for thrust Back for warp and thumb and trigger for torps and fire?? It just seems like a brutal hack for no reward.

Well again the floor is gone and the bottom of the two units look rotted. I wander if they could send it priority mail?! LOL

That will work 12-1

I am in the south jersey area and I have a friend that I visit in Denton. It is easy for me to haul a game to the eastern shore.

there is an upright in the for sale section in philly. 100 bucks and non working. I posted about hauling it to NY. I can also do Eastern Shore MD.

Looky what I found.

Hello all knowledgeable arcade buffs. My name is Nathan (feel like I am at an A.A. meeting) and I reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I need help if possible. Years ago I would go camping and at the campsite clubhouse they had the Star Trek Captain's Chair by Sega. Every year we went for four years I would feed quarters left and right into this critter. In fact I even remember a cereal promotion (Captain Crunch maybe?) where you could win one of these units.
Now my question for you. I could never afford to buy a non working unit. Does anyone know where I could get a blueprint of sort for the cabinet? Measurements or something. I have scoured the 'net for about three weeks for some sort of dimensions for it and no luck. I hate to ask you this, so I scoured this board also and have not found a post, if there is I apologize. It would be greatly appreciated if this were available somehow. I could build it over time and mame it as a dedicated unit. Thanks so much,

Nathan

I am confused as to what you found! is it Star trek or Star Wars? I am so confused. my reading skills must be bad!

I will be in Reno this September. It is too big to pack into my luggage! Damn IT!

The seller refers to it as a Star Wars, but according the picture, he just got it mixed up. If what is in that pic is what he's selling....it's a Star Trek.

I've got an upright old polaris cabinet I am converting now. Thanks anyway!

Wundercade, you did good with that Star Wars/Trek find. I'm sure if Nathan was serious about wanting a cockpit Star Trek he'd consider it instead of going with a Polaris cabinet (ugh). C'mon Nathan, don't wuss out on us....you know the cockpit is how the game should be played, and not with a Taito cabinet.

You know this to be true, don't fight it. :D

I recently mamed my pole position, to be able to play pole position and a few other driving games. My brother has a Star trek that he is trying to get working.

Just for fun I put on Star Trek and played it minus two buttons. I used the shifter and the pedal as buttons. He came running thinking I got his working. Man he was so PISSED!

I hacked a mouse for the wheel , which works for the spinner. Hacked the mouse buttons for the shifter and pedal. I still have ALL of the Pole Position guts in there.
