Howdy folks!
As a child of the 80's, born in 1969, I guess it was the sound of inevitability that drew me here. I played Pong on a dedicated console. I grew up scrounging for quarters as so many of us had. I was fortunate enough to get an Atari 2600 when they came out, and did whatever I could for the next new cartridge. Over the years I've played in the digital realm via PC games, and dove into the deepest depths of the MMO world.
Lucky to survive the latter perhaps, I find myself longing for the roots of my digital love affair. MAME's not enough. I need to start my own collection of cabs. Since I'm fairly adept at woodworking & electronics, this seems a totally natural fit for me. I look forward to having a resto. worthy of public consumption before the year is done. Game on!
End of Line.
