I'm guessing that using the new member introduction section is a pretty dorky thing to do, but it seems almost rude not to, so... howdy.

I've been working with my arcade machines for a few years now. My first was a Neo Geo, and after that I picked up a Capcom "Big Blue." Previously, I operated mostly on the Neo-Geo.com forums when I had questions about my machines, but just today I picked up my Donkey Kong, and thought that here would be the best place for help with it.

I also would be willing to bet that here is the only place I'll find an original one of those damned orange Nintendo buttons >:p

I'll post pictures of my cabs as soon as my phone is cooperating.

EDIT: Donkey Kong pics added!

Thanks for the welcome!

It's not my first cab, but it's the first one intended as a "collector" piece instead of a "gamer" piece. I wanna fix it up nice, and thought this would be the place.

What games do you have?

Welcome, this site is great for gaming goodness. This thread talks about Paradise Arcade doing some reproduction Nintendo buttons. Not sure when they will actually be for sale, but I will be up for buying some.

Thanks for the info -- I'll be watching that thread for news. I would pick up a repro to replace mine with for now, but I'd really love to get an original given the chance. I know that it's a lot to pay for a button; if it's for something like this, though, I don't think I'd mind.
