I have a SW cockpit with 19 inch amp (looking for a 25 though). The Amp boards were always suspect - rough solder joints, original caps and transistors, etc. I never really trusted them. About a month back the image started to get more shaky.

I was considering tracking down a solution myself, but decided its best to have the boards returned to near original glory so i could trust them again - I Contacted Dave (ArcRevival), whose service i had watched here - very impressed with what i saw.

His turnaround was very good and communication was thorough throughout - frequent updates to progress. When i got the boards back i couldnt believe the quality - all of the suspect joints, wiring, etc were completely rebuilt ( i knew this was what was being done, but seeing it in person is much better!). I feel very confident with these boards. I didnt want to install them they looked so nice and clean.

Finally, got them running - picture on my Amp is now incredibly clear, crisp, and stable (as stable as an amp can get). I am very happy with the results and expect many years of worry free use. This is a valuable service and anyone considering it should consider the great work provided.

Dave's the man. I spoke with him on the phone for 20 min last night troubleshooting my Amp...only to find out I needed to adjust the brightness!

I wanted to add a long overdue shout out to Dave as well regarding his Amp board rebuild service. I would echo everything Jonathan said. Great communication, and when I got the boards back, I couldn't believe they were the same ones. I have had these installed in my Star Wars since May, and they have been rock solid with a great picture. Thanks again, and I obviously would highly recommend this service.

yeah I a a huge arc fan. hooked me up and helped me out more than I can count.
hope to return to the favor at some point.

It's Thanksgiving so what better time to say thanks to you guys for allowing me to work on your boards. I have said it before and I will say it again, I always feel honored when people trust me with their arcade games. Especially the Ampliphones.

I have done a lot of K6100's but since I have moved down to the San Francisco Bay Area, I do not have all my games here and cannot test 6100's, G05-801's, or 19v2000's. I am going to try and make a trip back to Boise to get the rest of the games in December if weather permits and then should be good to go.
