Scenario:

I have a final lap and the game was cleaned with vinegar and water (no not me) it was fine for a short time and now it smells like someone pissed all over the damn thing.( and no I did not so don't ask).

No young kids in the house or other people that might have dribbled. I have to assume it was the vinegar and water as it was fine before.

Any ideas other than tossing it, that would get rid of this smell ?

Thanks for your time.

could try bleach and see if that kills the smell. If not try clear coating the inside. Sealing the smell often works.

Wash the inside with a backing soda wash and leave a box of baking soda in it for a couple of days.

The vinegar probably reacted with the binder used to hold the wood particles together. The baking soda should react with any leftover vinegar and stop the reaction. The box of baking soda should help remove the odors.

I've used something called "odor air magnet", which my mom (who worked at a paint store) recommended. They actually work quite well. Just stick it in the cabinet and close the cabinet (I usually end up forgetting about it, then next time I open it up, the smell is gone).

I used to get them at the paint store, but I dunno whether they're commonly sold at all paint stores. This is the product: http://www.naturalmagic.com/catalog/NM Odor Air-Magnet.aspx (not the scented ones).

Coulds use,

Stickups, Unrinal Cakes, and my Fav.. Those pine tree air fresheners.

There's also a product called Odoban.. It's main use is for pet odors, but since you have a urine type smell it might do the trick.

Hang a lil' tree air freshner in it. Im very serious, have cleansed the filth from many games with the old reliable tree.
You could also try some febreez.
