Steam is currently running some pretty crazy sales through the 4th of July. I got the complete Introversion pack for $5 yesterday, and just missed picking up Bioshock 2 for $15 (it's back up to $30 now :(). Defense Grid: The Awakening, a great tower defense game with 3D graphics, is $5. Today I bought Ghostbusters for $4, but decided to skip Resident Evil 5 for $12.50. :D You can still get the complete id pack for $35.

These are crazy cheap prices guys, but some of them will only last till midday tomorrow, I would take advantage of it! There will be new sales each day as well, so keep watching. I know I sound like a shill for Steam, but if you're a PC gamer at all, this is like Christmas in the summer :D

I fail.

In my cart right now:
Bejeweled Twist
Bejeweled 2 (even though I've bought it on multiple platforms already :p)
TokiTori (have it on Wii as well :p)
Ghostbusters
Serious Sam HD Double Pack (is this crap any good?)
Super Laser Racer
Galcon Fusion
Introversion Complete Pack (already had one of these...oh well)

Still debating on if I'll actually buy or not. Will probably add more later. I mean, I'm only at $36.72, so come on :p

Awesome sale on Steam until July 4th

Some awesome prices on Steam for whoever uses the service. This service has come along way since inception and im quite impressed. Some really good pickups for cheap. Check them out.

Have picked up a few more over the last few days.

Shatter is HIGHLY recommended, if you ask me. It's like Arkanoid redone Geometry Wars style. And only $2.50 today!

I picked up Torchlight and will nab shatter also today. Ive spent $20 so far on like 7 games. I really like the simple flash type games as they have alot of depth, scoring and an arcade game type feel all on the PC.

Beat Hazard is also recommended. I got it last time it was pretty cheap. It's like Geometry Wars, but you play to your own music and it's trippy as fuck. You know those warnings about having seizures and shit? Yeah, you can take that shit seriously with this one. Good stuff :)

omg im about to buy the id pack. I wanna play quake 1 and 2 so bad its not even funny, and its like crap for like 15$ more I could have alll of those... HELP. damn. im gonna buy later today

Borderlands is $10 right now, and another $3 for each expansion.

Almost picked that up, but knew I'd never get around to it. So I passed. Maybe they'll tempt me with it again during the Xmas sale.

Portal is $1.99 today for those who never got it. Never has there been such a great deal on any single game.

I've also heard good things about those Freedom Force games, so I think I'll pick up the set for $1.87.

Borderlands is pretty great after an hour's worth of play...

I got the Freedom Force pack as a gift from a friend, but I haven't played it yet. I'm going to buy Portal for my brother since he has somehow managed to not get it yet.

Looks like they wanted to tempt me with it again today. I might bite.

Considering getting L4D2 for my gf since she gets people wanting play her on PC from time to time. She's never played PC games, but since she likes it so much on 360, I might be able to drag her on PC as well, who knows.

I got Machinarium on Steam during their last big sale for $5.00. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Well, if you like simple adventures. It's got some pretty creative content.

You can actually play the first segment of the game online without downloading anything by clicking here: http://machinarium.net/demo/

My family worked through it together. Now if they would only come out with a sequel.....

I bit. Have you tried the co-op yet? If so, what's it like?
I haven't, but I hear it's a little finicky. For one, it uses GameSpy (for some reason) for the multiplayer, so you need a GS account that is separate from your Steam account (and GFWL account ). Also, when it was new, I remember people saying that it was a bit of a pain to get it to connect properly. Then you really need to be at similar levels in-game for the co-op to work. I've only played it single player so far and that's been fun.
