Great arcade recodrings

I killed a lot of time here when I found this site. I came across it when I did a google search for classic arcades in Albany,NY. A lot of his recordings were done at the Chuck E. Cheese and Aladdin's Castle we had here which is very cool! And very geeky indeed.

These remind me of a guys one of my friends who worked at Ponderosa would always tell me about. This guy he worked with at the restaurant would wash dishes and do his kitchen work while listening to NES game music that he recorded himself. Classic and almost a little crazy.

I purchased his recordings this past summer and listen to them in my arcade. The quality is very good and there is alot of variety. You can also hear some other games in the background, but the focus is always just one game; which I like as some of the ambience recordings that are available are okay, but there is alot going on in those versions.

I ripped the recordings (which are separate mp3 files) to my iTunes and shuffle them with 80's rock music. If you are on the fence about purchasing these, I would highly recommend them.
