Hey all, Im just wondering has anybody ever seen someone or ran ipods as prizes in either a gravity hill or a crane? I would think this would boost profits.

I see them in Stacker machines pretty frequently, but since the difficulty on those is pretty high (for the top prizes), you can be pretty sure that you won't have to pay out too many ipods.

With a skill crane, the difficulty is much more difficult to measure. It's really dependent on a whole lot of factors (how is the desired thing laying, what's on top of it, etc, etc). I'm not sure you wouldn't end up paying out a lot of ipods.

I would strongly advise against running them in a Gravity Hill. There is no way for a player to use skill to win a certain prize as the LG prizes are dispensed randomly. This will turn the game in to a gambling device in most areas. Only way to pass would be for all of the LG prizes to be an Ipod or a prize of equal value.

If you run them in a crane, I would suggest you only use a full front door locking unit (Similar to a vending machine door) such as an ICE Pinnacle. DO NOT run them in any crane that has the sliding glass prize doors, plexi glass or the wooden swing doors. Too easy to break in (and they will).

We have DSi's and Ipods in our Lighthouse game. Its made by the guys that make Stacker. The cool thing about LAI's prize games is you dont set the difficulty from easy to hard but how many plays the game takes in before it makes it easy enough for customers to win.

As far as putting them in a Gravity HIll. NO. You would not be able to fit them in the 4 inch capsules and the Hill is too easy once a person gets it down. Although their are replacement Hills that are made to be harder. Even still. Once you master it then its slim pickins
