Gravitar or Black Widow ever a realistic possibility?
I ask because.. I have either a Gravitar cabinet that was converted to Black Widow or factory BW cabinet with the BW art peeled off. Has the harness, Gravitar boardset. I have a spare 6100 and got a Gravitar marquee. Really just missing the Gravitar control panel from making a Gravitar out of it.
The cabinet isn't falling apart or anything, sideart is ok, but has quite a bit of swelling around the edges, especially the front side. It's enough that it wouldn't be reasonable to sand every edge of every panel down, etc.. I'd probably leave it alone before I'd do that.
While I was already going to use it as a template for a scratch building a Quantum, I could build a new cabinet for this project as well. I'd mostly just have to build double the parts.
I don't know that I'd want to do it though, if it would never have sideart..
Would it be feasible (or possible) for Rich, Darin, or someone to acquire the Atari films, scan them, have the art cleaned up, but then go solvent inkjet if screenprinting isn't possible due to demand? Just wondering.. Thanks for reading.
