Well it happened. I made a deal on this Gravitar last weekend. It was in a Arcade for 8 months of its life. For the last 16 years it has sat not working. It was repaired yesterday, and it came home today. It is near mint!! Sideart is a 9.7/10. Control panel perfect. This machine is unreal.

I need to get a little sticker residue off the just under the left side of the control panel, replace the red coin ejectors. One is missing the other says token. Also need to remove token sticker on coin door. Thats it.

It fit in real good!! Poor Tron got kicked out to the garage!!

Dam, Gravitar is hard im up to 42,900 for a high score. Cant believe the world record is 8,029,450. Thats insane!!

one came up on ebay.co.uk.

looks like the seller has gone and removed the monitor and had it on a buy it now of £300 on a different acount and the cab on auction without monitor of course on another one,no reserve.he states it plays blind.that was yesterday, today the monitor is now on £150 starting bid.

the monitor is being sold in the same city on the same day the cab went up.thing was,a couple of days ago a colour vector sold for £330.so looks like instead of selling the cab intact they went and parted out the monitor thinking they could do the same.

shame,i wouldnt have minded one (even though i dont realy have room) well none of us has realy but,we alwauys make it when we need to.

thats a very rare cab here, prob with this one on ebay is,if you only grab the monitor and not the cab your in the dog house,if you grab the cab and not the monitor your even more in the dog house.

just gos to show you what value these cabs have here in the uk,you get yours cheap as they are a penny a dozen as your market is flooded, here they are rare and expensive.

just an example of why i always say how lucky you usa folks are but, downfall is,your resale values are pretty cruddy.

If you can grab the cab, you can always have a 6100 shipped over from the USA. Atari only made 5427 Gravitars, there cant be many in the UK.

Holy carp! That is one of the most beautiful Gravitars I have ever seen.

Congrats on getting one of the best arcade machines of all time! :D

HOLY CRAP! That's the cleanest Gravitar I've ever seen. Can't imagine a nicer example. Congrats! I've only made it to the 3rd solar system twice and my HS is only 71,000. The guys that score in the millions are just insane!
