The Game Preserve, Houston's newest pinball and arcade game spot will have a Grand Opening party on Saturday, January 26th. Doors will open at 4pm for the Grand Opening festivities. There will be door prize drawings, tournament prizes, free hot dogs and popcorn and everyone gets in free! Over 40 classic video and pinball games will be available on free play.

We are located at 5750 North Sam Houston Parkway East, Suite 213, Houston, TX.

From Beltway 8, east or west bound, take the Lee Street Exit. Go south on Lee Street and just south of the gas station, you will two entrances to the office/warehouse complex (white 2 story buildings). Take either entrance and proceed to building 2 in the North-Western corner. Suite 213 is on the eastern side of Building 2.

From US Hwy 59, North or South, take the Lee Street Exit. Go North on Lee Street until just before the Beltway Frontage road. You will see two entrances leading to the office/warehouse complex (white 2 story buildings). Take either entrance and proceed to building 2 in the North-Western corner. Suite 213 is on the eastern side of Building 2.

So come help us celebrate the creation of a unique, family oriented affordable organization and see what all the excitement is about. A Grand Prize drawing for a 6 month Bronze level membership will be held at 9pm and you need not be present to win, just come on by and drop your name in the hat to be eligible. More information can be found by searching for The Game Preserve on Facebook or contacting us via email at: [email protected]

Edit: I don't normally duplicate threads, but I originally posted this in the Texas sub-Forum and several people have said that they can't see it.

can you clarify how to find it on facebook, the exact title. there are many things of that similar name. i only find Indiana

Ken, where is the Texas sub-forum? BTW, I will definitely be there Sat.

Off the main forums page, there is a section called Greographic, just above the Trading Post Forum. Insde it there is a sub forum for Texas.

They may have it limited to members that have greater than a certain number of posts, which is why you can't see it. I was afraid of that and is why I posted in the main forum.

Looks great, good luck! You should post some more pictures on here or dumb-facebook. I've learned to past to facebook almost every day, it's like the best free marketing you can get. Anyhow, I'd like to see more pictures.

Yah, Yellowdog take the plunge. The Williams group is waiting for you anyway, which includes other developers and Mr. DeMar, too. ;)

I checked the place out last night and all i can say is,if your in the houston area you MUST check it out! This place is like a candy store or a toys-r-us for us,great selection of games and pins.I didnt have hours to spend so i just played a few in between gabbing with ken but the moon patrol was fun(wish i didnt sell mine now) the black widow, revenge from mars, star wars, pitch and bat etc were amazing to play in an arcade setting all the while the juke box booming out some 80's tunes. Heres me and ken(ken on the left) from last night, thanks again man, cant wait to make it back out there.

Cool. Will have to stop by when I get back to the USA.

Wanna take in some of my restored games on a temporary basis to save me on storage? :)

Wow, I wish I lived anywhere near Houston! Bah. 1500 miles is to far for a road trip, at least for now. :) I hope it is successful! I would love to try something similar, but I just don't have the population density around me to even consider the possibility.

Nice to see vectors in the wild... Good luck Ken....:D

Thanks.

We have a SpaceDuel that is sick at the moment :( and I have been jonesing to find a Quantum to throw into the mix. I have one of the first round repro boards I need to populate and then buy all the parts that have been repro'ed to put one together. Maybe as soon as I stop throwing all my money into this place....like that is going to happen.

I also have a Tac/Scan in the Repair area.

KatanaJoe is on the fence about bringing his Major Havoc to join the vector row.

And we need an astroids and a ....... it never ends doesn't it? :D

The warehouse space is L shaped, Here is the long part of the L. Top left you can see the area on top of the office that is the repair area and soon to be the cocktail lounge (cocktail games).

The short side of the L:

Setting up the pins. Now which leg goes with this pin?

Looks more like a warehouse raid than an arcade.
