FS: Gradius 2: Gofer No Yabou PCB

I have the chance to possibly obtain one of my grail cabs, so need to sell some bits pretty fast. Didn't really want to part with this one, but its probably the most expensive of the games I own.

Gradius 2: Gofer No Yabou PCB

This the Japan version of the game, It is on original Konami Twin 16 hardware, but I believe was converted from a Cuebrick of Final Round pcb so I don't expect it to be selling for full rate a fully original might sell for.

Seems to be a hard game to find and was not released in the states. It was known as Vulcan Venture over here in the UK.

$300 shipped from the UK.

I am unable to change the head from MMAO.

Cheers
Ben

Yes, board pics. please.

I would like to see too.

Might wanna include whether it's a version 1 or version 2 board. Version 2 has an infinite scoring bug fix and adjusted extend scoring.

Here is a photo of the top, I will do a photo of the bottom pcb when I get home from work. How do I figure out which version it is, as I mention in the top post it seems to have been converted from another Konami Twin 16 game. The Roms on the bottom side of the pcb have some wires on.

Cheers

Look at the extend scoring on the title screen. Values of 20,000 and 70,000 for version 1. 20,000 and 150,000 for version 2.

Just looked at the dip switch table, it is probably just set on the 70K option
BONUS LIFE: (dips 4-5)
- 20K 150K* OFF OFF
- 30K 200K ON OFF
- 20K OFF ON
- 70K ON ON

I didn't have a chance to take it out of the cab in the end last night as was watching the Champions League Football "Soccer" match, and was way to engrossed in the game, haha.

If anyone is able to tell me what I should be selling this for, then let me know and I can stick a price up here on it :)
Cheers
Ben

Changed the dips and it now says bonus at 30000, and 200000, so guess its the new version roms on it. Here is a pic of the bottom of the pcb too.
