So out of the blue I got a call from a guy with a Gravitar he said he needed help fixing. He didn't remember where he got my number and he lives about 120 miles away so it was kinda strange. I don't advertise anywhere or work on games for people for cash so we were both confused but he does work on electronics so I gave him some tips and links for parts for the monitor (it's playing blind). And of course I mentioned that if he was interested in selling it I might be interested.
Well, he tossed out a number and I said ok. He says he bought it brand new back in the day directly from Atari. It's pretty nice overall. A few scratches here and there and the CPO is a little cracked around the edges but nothing too bad. The monitor neck glows and I can hear the chatter but there's no video at all. Haven't done any further investigating yet. I put a few credits on it before I checked the coin counter but after I looked it has....301 clicks on it!
Coolness.
