I have been fixing a lot of Vids and Pins, getting ready for the 2012 NW Pinball and Arcade Show.

I am currently working on the upgrade mods for Gottlieb System 80 in a Haunted House.

The power supply has terrible Test Points, and the recommended solution did not look very appealing to me.

Here is what I did, and maybe it will help someone in the future.

Gottlieb System 80 Power Supply as it was given to me.

First I pulled the solder out of the hole.

Next I took a resistor leg and bent it around on itself.

I inserted it into the hole.

Then I placed a screw into the center of the loop.

After placing the screw in the center of the loop, I turned the board over and pulled both legs tight with my needle nose pliers.

Soldered that bad boy into place.

Flipped the board over and removed the screw. Ending up with an almost perfect circle Test Point as shown below.

That's awesome. Way easier to work with. Even those little 'nubs' that are on my WPC board are annoying. I'm sure most people probably use a clip to them, but I'd much rather have something like this, frankly.
